Mitesco, Inc. announced that its Robo-Agent software development project is progressing with beta testing involving agents from major residential real estate companies including eXp Realty, Sotheby's, LPT Realty, Coldwell Banker, and Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. The platform represents a significant advancement in addressing productivity challenges within the real estate industry, where agent compensation is shrinking and market activity remains relatively stagnant.
The conversational AI solution is designed as a comprehensive, turnkey system for automating the entire sales lifecycle, featuring time and task management, prospecting and qualification for both buyers and sellers, and individualized business planning for agents. CEO Mack Leath emphasized that the platform requires minimal technical knowledge for both agents and their prospects, making it accessible to the diverse real estate workforce. According to the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials (ARELLO), there are over 3 million active real estate licenses in the U.S., including more than 1.5 million National Association of Realtors (NAR) members, with the average agent being 55 years old and having 10 years of experience.
The strategic decision to launch Robo-Agent as an add-on to Follow-up-Boss™, which has over 200,000 users and was acquired by Zillow Group in November 2023, accelerates adoption through existing ecosystem integrations. This approach leverages established infrastructure while introducing AI-powered automation to enhance agent efficiency. The beta testing group includes participants ranging in technical skill levels working across both buyer and seller sides of transactions, ensuring the platform's effectiveness for all agents from part-time newcomers to full-time professionals in luxury markets.
Once launched, Robo-Agent will be hosted in the Centcore Data Center, a Mitesco division providing secure, high-performance cloud infrastructure with SOC 2, Tier 3+, and CJIS certifications. Developed under Mitesco's Vero Technology Ventures division, the platform supports tailored activity planning and performance tracking based on each agent's goals and transaction volume, positioning it as a scalable solution for AI-powered business tools in the real estate sector and potentially broader business-to-consumer applications in the future.
