World Police Summit Awards Expand to Include AI and Startup Innovation Categories

The World Police Summit Awards is accepting nominations for its 4th edition with two new additional categories: Best Use of Artificial Intelligence in Policing and Innovation Award for Startups, increasing the total number of award categories to 12. This expansion recognizes the critical role of technology in modern policing, particularly in international cooperation and tackling transnational crime. The 2025 prestigious global awards have seen a 55% increase in submitted nominations compared to the previous edition, indicating growing international recognition of policing excellence. Law enforcement personnel worldwide are eligible to apply before March 31, 2025, following specific criteria published on the official award website at https://www.worldpolicesummit.com/awards. The award jury comprises leading global academics specializing in policing and law enforcement sciences, with nominees undergoing multiple stages before reaching the final round where only three candidates per category advance.

Captain Marwan Abdullah Al Mulla, Head of Strategic Thought Section and Head of the World Police Summit Awards, stated that the new categories reflect the summit's commitment to promoting innovation and AI applications, which play a crucial role in assisting law enforcement officers in their duties both domestically and internationally.
