The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) led a delegation of 61 Hong Kong technology companies to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas from January 6-9, 2026, marking the largest such delegation in history. The Hong Kong Tech Pavilion attracted dozens of international brands, industry leaders, and investors during the first two days alone, facilitating market access for local firms and showcasing research and development capabilities that reinforce Hong Kong's position as an international innovation and technology hub.
Innovations displayed spanned advanced materials and sustainable technology, artificial intelligence and data, digital transformation, electronics and robotics, and life and health sectors. Three Hong Kong companies received recognition at the CES Innovation Awards 2026, with Widemount Dynamics Tech earning the Best of Innovation award in the "Product in Support of Human Security for All" category for its Smart Firefighting Robot. Eieling and PointFit were honored in the "Digital Health" category for FattaLab®, described as the world's first intelligence-driven compact fatty liver diagnostic device, and the patented ultra-thin biomarkers tracking wearable PF-Sweat Patch.
Terry Wong, CEO of HKSTP, emphasized the significance of this global platform, stating that it demonstrates Hong Kong's unique convergence of cutting-edge research and development, global talent and capital, and institutional enablers that connect innovators with resources, markets, and opportunities.
