The Platform Group SE & Co. KGaA has announced the expansion of its C-level leadership team with two key appointments. Nathalie Richert, previously Head of Investor Relations, has been appointed as a member of the C-level and has additionally assumed responsibility for the Human Resources function. Christoph Hies, who has been with the company for more than six years, has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer and will now oversee marketing activities across the entire group.
This leadership expansion comes as The Platform Group prepares for significant growth, with the company expecting to soon employ more than 2,000 people. Richert emphasized the increasing importance of the HR function given this anticipated workforce expansion, stating she looks forward to further strengthening investor relations activities alongside her new human resources responsibilities. The company's leadership structure maintains continuity with Christoph Wilhelmy as COO, Sven Schumann as CPM, Bjoern Minnier overseeing M&A and finance, Sven Hulsenbeck as CTO, Frederic von Borries as CPO, and Dr. Dominik Benner continuing as CEO.
Hies brings extensive experience to his new role, having helped develop and expand The Platform Group's marketing activities over the past six years. The company now operates in more than 26 industries where it pursues its marketing approach, and Hies expressed enthusiasm about further integrating marketing areas at the leadership level and consistently applying this successful approach to new acquisitions. This marketing consolidation aligns with the company's broader strategic direction, particularly as it continues to drive internationalization efforts forward.
CEO Dr. Dominik Benner framed these appointments as part of the company's execution on commitments made for 2025, including advancing internationalization and strengthening the leadership team to lay the foundation for what the company anticipates will be a highly successful 2026. Benner expressed confidence in achieving these goals based on current developments in the first quarter. The Platform Group operates as a Europe-wide software company active through proprietary platform solutions across diverse industries including luxury portfolio, optics & hearing, furniture retail, machinery trading, dental technology, and electronics.
The company maintains an extensive partner network comprising more than 16,000 partners who use its platform solutions to address both B2B and B2C customers. With 19 locations across Europe and headquarters in Dusseldorf, The Platform Group reported preliminary revenue of EUR 728 million in 2025 with adjusted EBITDA of EUR 55 million. These leadership changes represent strategic positioning as the company manages growth across its expanding operations and partner ecosystem while pursuing continued international expansion.
