The Hong Kong Trade Development Council will stage four flagship technology fairs this April at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, bringing together over 3,700 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions. InnoEX and the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) will be held concurrently from 13 to 16 April, while the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Spring Edition) and Smart Lighting Expo will take place from 20 to 23 April. These events showcase Hong Kong's strengths as an international exhibition hub and align with national development plans and local innovation policies.
Jenny Koo, Deputy Executive Director of the HKTDC, emphasized that both InnoEX and the Electronics Fair will showcase AI-driven frontier technologies and market-ready applications, supporting Hong Kong's development into an international innovation and technology hub. The events present advanced technologies and cutting-edge products, fostering business networking and cross-sector collaboration while leveraging Hong Kong's unique advantage as a platform for international engagement.
This year's InnoEX, themed "Innovate - Automate - Elevate", covers five key areas including AI+, Robotics, and the Low-altitude Economy. A major highlight is "RoboPark", which makes its debut across both InnoEX and the Electronics Fair and brings together technology companies from Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and overseas. The zone showcases more than 100 robots across various application scenarios and features four of the world's top five best-selling humanoid robot manufacturers from 2025. Over the four-day exhibition period, some 40 events will be held at RoboPark, including technology demonstrations and networking platforms to help enterprises expand into overseas markets.
InnoEX further expands its global reach with exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, including strong representation from the Chinese mainland with 17 provinces and cities forming 18 pavilions. Leading Chinese technology giants including Huawei International, China Mobile Hong Kong, iFLYTEK, Tencent Cloud International and Lenovo (Hong Kong) will participate. The exhibition brings together R&D achievements from government, industry, academia and research sectors, with the Digital Policy Office of the HKSAR Government setting up a large-scale "Smart Hong Kong Pavilion" themed "AI+ Hong Kong" and focusing on artificial intelligence applications across eight domains.
InnoEX will, for the first time, co-organise the "Low-Altitude Economy Conference" with the Working Group on Developing the Low-Altitude Economy, bringing together industry experts to analyse policy trends and market potential. A dedicated Low-Altitude Economy Zone will showcase applications of low-altitude technologies with participating companies including Transcendence and Harmony SkyTech. All R&D centres established by the Hong Kong SAR Government will participate in InnoEX this year, including the recently merged Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute and Nano and Advanced Materials Institute.
The Electronics Fair will focus on AI-driven electronic products across three major areas: Smart Home & Solutions, Health Tech & Gadgets and Pet Intelligence. Around 50 new products will make their debut at the fair, while the "Startup Zone" brings together over 60 start-ups showcasing innovative products and solutions. An "Immersive Experience Zone" will present interactive experiences using VR, AR and XR technologies. InnoEX and the Electronics Fair will jointly host more than 100 events featuring insights from industry experts including representatives from Deloitte and Google, as well as overseas government representatives such as the Vice-minister of AI and Digital Development of Kazakhstan.
The Smart Lighting Expo and Hong Kong International Lighting Fair are themed "Go Smart - Live Green" this year, bringing together some 900 exhibitors with new participants from the Netherlands and Vietnam. The fairs gather numerous renowned brands and industry leaders including Foshan Electrical and Lighting, OPPLE Lighting, Shanghai Sansi, and Absen. This year receives strong support from Zhongshan City as the Special Partner City, with the inaugural Zhongshan Guzhen Pavilion and Zhongshan Henglan Pavilion making their debut. A brand-new "Light Lab" will present smart lighting products through scenario-based design and immersive displays.
The Smart Lighting Expo will introduce a new "Smart Commercial Display and Stage Audio-visual Zone" where industry leader Absen will showcase its latest low-carbon, energy-saving displays that achieve energy savings of over 50%. The "Hall of Aurora" remains a signature highlight of the Lighting Fair. A series of events will be held including the "Smart Lighting Solution Forum" and "Asian Lighting Forum" to foster industry exchange. The Business of Innovation and Technology Week, driven by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau and HKTDC, features additional major events including the Hong Kong World Youth Science Conference and Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2026, further strengthening Hong Kong's position as a regional digital hub.
