Kingsoft Corporation Limited (HKEx: 03888) announced unaudited results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026, revealing a 284% year-on-year increase in profit attributable to owners of the parent, reaching RMB1.09 billion. Total revenue rose 3% year-on-year to RMB2.42 billion, with the office software and services segment contributing 67% of total revenue, up 24% to RMB1.61 billion. The online games and others segment saw a 22% decline to RMB803.5 million, primarily due to decreased revenue from existing games.
Chairman Jun LEI attributed the growth to the company's strategic focus on 'AI, Collaboration, and Internationalization' within Kingsoft Office Group. The continued enhancement of AI features effectively drove growth in WPS AI monthly active users, conversion rates, and average revenue per paying user. For WPS 365, the company upgraded AI and collaboration capabilities, leading to expanded coverage among private and local state-owned enterprises and increased orders from large-scale customers. Government AI products were refined and rolled out across departments, supporting digital and intelligent transformation.
In the online games business, CEO Tao ZOU noted that JX3 Online maintained a stable active user base with innovative in-game events and an expansion pack released in April. The classic JX series of PC games continued long-term operations with content innovation. Goose Goose Duck, released in January, focused on growing its user base and is still in early monetization, but performed well in the domestic market with localized content and social gameplay.
Looking ahead, Kingsoft Office Group plans to deepen AI capabilities, focus on Agent product implementation, empower intelligent office scenarios through WPS 365, and advance international expansion. The online games business will increase R&D investment in core games and leverage AI to enhance content creation. The company's strategic layout includes office software, interactive entertainment, cloud services, and artificial intelligence as new growth drivers.
