Trust Moments COO Launches Book Project to Document AI's Impact on Real Estate

Cyndie Shaffstall, co-founder and COO of Trust Moments, is developing her 21st book to capture a snapshot of AI's growing role in the real estate industry. The new ebook, provisionally titled 100 Leadership Perspectives on AI in Real Estate, will feature interviews with dozens of industry leaders and is set for publication after the NAR NXT conference. Trust Moments has already contacted more than 200 industry leaders and will continue leadership interviews at NAR NXT from November 6 to 8 in New Orleans.

The project aims to explore and celebrate the growing role of AI in real estate by gathering diverse perspectives from across the industry. Shaffstall's most recent ebook, Case study: How we built an AI-powered relationship and referral engine (and the things I wish I knew then), published in October, chronicled her team's experiments and missteps while building an AI-driven client experience platform without a traditional engineering background. That experience informs the new book's focus on practical, human-centered AI applications.

"We are so energized by the way professionals in the real estate field are innovating the use of AI around their own workflows, creating solutions that empower humans," Shaffstall said. "We are reaching out to leaders all over the industry to create a comprehensive picture of where AI is now, where people want it to develop, and how it can make our work better than ever."

The announcement matters because it signals a broader effort to document and share real-world AI adoption in real estate at a time when the technology is rapidly reshaping workflows. By collecting insights from hundreds of leaders, the project could provide a valuable benchmark for agents and brokerages seeking to understand how AI can enhance rather than replace human expertise. Shaffstall emphasized that "AI isn't here to replace human cognition – it's meant to empower people, and we're excited to hear how industry leaders are putting it to work."

Shaffstall and the founding team will be onsite at NAR NXT to conduct interviews and capture more industry perspectives. "To industry leaders attending NAR NXT, please stop by and share your successes and experiences with AI – together we make a stronger, more tech-forward industry," she said. The initiative underscores Trust Moments' positioning as a privacy-first, AI-assisted relationship and referral platform. The company offers a new level of buyer information, helping agents surface useful behavioral data that can paint a more complete picture of the homes buyers dream of and how to match the right buyer with the perfect home.
