UMT AG to Rebrand as WAYDEAR AG, Reflecting Agentic AI Transformation

UMT United Mobility Technology AG has announced an extraordinary general meeting scheduled for October 21, 2026, in Munich, where shareholders will vote on changing the company's name to "WAYDEAR AG." The notice for the meeting will be published in the Federal Gazette on September 14, 2026, and relevant documents will be available in the Investor Relations section at www.umt.ag. This move is more than a cosmetic change; it signifies the completion of UMT's operational transformation from a mobility technology firm to a provider of agent-based AI solutions (Agentic AI) that automate document-intensive and regulation-driven business processes for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The rebranding underscores the company's strategic pivot. The previous name, United Mobility Technology, no longer reflects its current activities, which now focus on two product lines: the Catchflow Agent for EU import processes (CATCH/TRACES) and UMS Vision AI for transport and logistics companies. In June, UMT secured NORDFROST, the German market leader in frozen food logistics, as a reference customer for CATCH automation, along with EYE Logistics for UMS Vision AI. These wins validate the commercial viability of its AI-driven solutions and demonstrate traction in niche, regulation-heavy sectors.

Financially, the company's guidance remains unchanged: break-even on a monthly EBITDA basis by the end of 2026, and revenue between 1.2 and 1.5 million euros in the 2027 financial year, with a gross profit margin of 60 to 70 percent. This margin reflects revenue less variable sales commissions and directly attributable service costs. The name change is intended to make it easier for customers, partners, and investors to understand the business model. WAYDEAR combines "Way" (path, process, direction) with "dear" (valuable), encapsulating the automation of business-critical processes.

"The reorganisation of UMT AG is complete. The products are on the market, we have secured our first reference customers, and the sales organisation is in place. The company name was the last element that still dated from a different era. With WAYDEAR, we will henceforth operate under a name that says exactly what we do," said Erik Nagel, CEO of UMT AG. This statement highlights that the rebranding is a strategic capstone, not a diversion, and signals confidence in the company's direction.

For shareholders, the change is seamless. The ISIN (DE000A40ZVU2) and WKN (A40ZVU) remain unchanged, and shares will trade under the new name after registration in the Commercial Register. A new ticker symbol will be applied for and announced separately. No action is required from shareholders. The rebranding matters because it clarifies UMT's identity in the competitive AI solutions market, potentially attracting investors and customers who might otherwise overlook a company with a legacy mobility name. It also emphasizes the company's commitment to its new focus, which could enhance credibility and drive adoption of its Agentic AI products. As UMT transitions to WAYDEAR AG, the market will watch whether the name change translates into accelerated growth and further customer acquisitions.
