Wytec International Secures Multi-State Government Agreement for AI Gunshot Detection Technology

Wytec International has been awarded a multi-state government Master Services Agreement through the TXShare Cooperative Purchasing Program directed by the North Central Texas Council of Governments. The contract enables deployment of Wytec's AI gunshot detection smart sensors, Private LTE, and in-building cellular technology to over 170 US cities, 50 counties, and more than 40 special districts including transit authorities, water utility boards, bridge and highway authorities, police departments, school districts, and hospitals.

The company's embedded AI/ML algorithms have undergone extensive testing, with more than 750,000 lab tests resulting in 94% true positive and 95% true negative accuracy rates, positioning it as one of the most accurate gunshot detection systems globally. Wytec has partnered with Trabus Technologies for AI/ML threat detection capabilities and Lemko Corporation for secure wireless backbone infrastructure using Private LTE systems and Citizens Broadband Radio Service spectrum.

This agreement represents a significant advancement in public safety technology deployment, leveraging Wytec's global patents and patent-pending solutions in smart sensors, wireless connectivity, and cloud management. The technology's integration into municipal infrastructure could substantially enhance emergency response capabilities and community safety measures across multiple jurisdictions.

Wytec is offering a no-cost Proof of Concept demonstration to limited TXShare members, with details to be displayed on the TXShare website. The company's collaboration with chipset manufacturers aims to integrate its technology into smart modules for commercial telecom operators, potentially expanding the reach of this advanced public safety solution beyond government applications to broader commercial markets.
